At the heart of the course lies educating students in the principles and best practices of film grammar, the cornerstone of all audio visual communications from viral hits on YouTube to Hollywood blockbusters. Brighton and Hove occupies a key role in the early development of photography and cinema in the UK. The city was the home of William Friese Greene, an early pioneer of motion photography, and boasted many studios during the early days of cinema. Hove College is proud to be able to draw on this unique tradition as it looks to prepare and inspire the next generation of film-makers for the digital age.
With the goal of building both business acumen and creative ability, successful students truly will be able to talk the talk and walk the walk.
